I am so thrilled to share Alyssa and Andy’s sunset engagement session at Sharon Woods in Westerville! I’ve coined them my celebrity couple because I swear, they are perfect look-a-likes to Bradley Cooper and a blonde Emilia Clarke (as Daenerys from GOT) and I can’t wait to hear if you agree! I can’t be too far off because they both admitted that they’ve heard it before from total strangers! haha Anyways, not only are they a gorgeous couple, but they are also such genuinely kind and sweet people.

Old Slate Farm is one of my all time favorite wedding florists and it has been a dream of mine to collaborate with them for a long time. They offer full service floral designs for weddings using flowers grown mostly on their property, with flowers from other local farms and sustainable sources as well. I not only love what Old Slate Farm represents with their focus on sustainability and knowledge of all things botany, but also am always floored by Katie’s garden-style, romantic designs!
Read MoreThis session was pure magic! Joshua and Mark are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever had the privilege of working with and witnessing their love for each other was such a joy. When they first reached out to me about photographing their Columbus wedding we instantly clicked and I was so excited for their big day! Sadly, COVID-19 has significantly impacted their plans of getting married due to the closure of their venue. They were absolutely devastated when they received the email explaining that they could no longer get married at Juniper and my heart broke for them. Up until that moment everything had seemed to be very serendipitous with their planning— everything had fallen into place perfectly to make their dream wedding plans come true. They were stopped in their tracks without a lot of information to move forward with.

Maybe is was the delicious bourbon barrel aged ale on tap that set the perfect mood, but I don't think so because they are truly just so great! Sometimes I meet with couples and instantly feel comfortable and relaxed chatting like I'm just catching up with old friends and this is exactly how I would describe our time together.

Let me just tell you, they were a DREAM in front of the camera and truly one of the sweetest couples. Their love for one another is undeniable and their zest for life is unparalleled.
Read MoreA little rain can’t stop us from making gorgeous photos! Caroline and Mitch live in Boston, so when the radar showed all green and red we didn't really have a choice to reschedule the session. Luckily, there were brief gaps in the downpour that allowed us to run out and dance under the pretty pink blooms! They were such troopers— even popping some bubbly in the rain!
Read MoreThis engagement session felt a little more like a celebration than most because Maria and Kyle both just graduated from dental school at The Ohio State University! I thought Juniper Rooftop would be the perfect spot to kick off their session with a few cocktails and kisses. I've been dying to get a couple into this incredible space from the moment it opened and it didn't disappoint!
