Right before the big day, we took a little adventure to the Hoover Reservoir in Westerville. One of my favorite places to go this time of year and the fall foliage did not disappoint. Brittany’s amber hair mimicked the warmth in the trees and the glow from the sun. I was in dreamy-light-heaven the entire time.

Hope and Isaac had the idea of exploring one of their favorite hiking trails for their session and I just love how it all turned out. Indian Run Falls is like a secret little gem in Dublin where you can follow the path through the woods and end up on a beautiful trail along the river that feels like a slice of Hocking Hills in the heart of downtown.

With the goal of adding some drama to their shoot they wore all black for their rooftop session and even brought along some black smoke bombs for us to incorporate! For a completely different look we also took some photos among the spring blooms at Goodale Park. The entire vibe of this shoot has me so excited for their wedding day at the Fives this weekend!

I loved Kelly’s long flowy dress that added such a fun element of warmth, texture and movement to the session— it perfectly complemented the warm brick tones found throughout German Village. After a quick outfit change we headed over to Grange Insurance Audubon Center to catch the last of the sunset among the open fields and wildflowers.
Read MoreKatie and Kaitlin are one of those couples that instantly feel like friends and are such a joy to photograph. I first met Katie at a bridal photoshoot for La Jeune Mariee. She was one of the models and it was so much fun photographing her in all the different gowns. She wasn’t engaged yet, but showed me the ring she already had picked out for Kaitlin. I remember her telling me that as soon as Kaitlin popped the question she would be in touch. Not too long after they were celebrating their engagement and started planning their destination wedding in Key West. I feel like I hit the jackpot with these two and am just so excited to capture their big day!
