Sarah has been planning this family session for well over 6 months and I truly think it was worth the wait and anticipation because she completely nailed the styling for everyone! Don’t they all belong in some family lifestyle magazine? They were all such a dream to work with and we had the most perfect fall day to explore the Hoover Reservoir in Westerville. The Hoover is one of my favorite locations to photograph in autumn because it offers such a wide range of beautiful backdrops that bring a wonderful variety to the final gallery of images.

It was so much fun reconnecting with Sarah and her family for this shoot. The last time I photographed them all was in 2014, so as you can imagine things have changed a little! It was wonderful finally meeting their youngest Everly and seeing how much their older two daughters have grown. I absolutely loved seeing how close the bond was between all three sisters and seeing how attached Leah is to her big sister Hope. Perhaps it’s because I’m the mom of three girls, but there is just something so special about sisters!

Something I am always insistent about during a family session is sneaking in some couple portraits of just mom and dad! Even if it’s just for a moment it’s so important to remember where it all began and document the root of all the love. Sarah and Rob have been married for over 10 years now, but you would think they were newlyweds with the way they look at each other!
