Dreamy Islamic Wedding at the Hilton Columbus at Easton
DANIA AND DANNY
While Danny’s family background is Syrian and Dania’s family background is Indian, they both share the same faith of Islam. Their wedding ceremony at The Hilton at Easton was based on Islamic traditions and witnessed by family and friends they patiently waited over 2 years to see.
I absolutely loved getting to be a part of this day. Upon arrival, I swooned over the incorporation of gold and silver found in Dania’s wedding details. What I loved the most though was the henna that graced her hands. Knowing beforehand how important this element is made getting to see it in person and photograph it even more special.
Everyone was glowing as Dania got into her couture saree by Sana Abbas. The intricate embroidery and soft hues created the perfect contrast for her henna and lush bouquet. I knew right away that Danny’s jaw was going to drop when he saw his bride, and sure enough, it did.
The ceremony was designed to feel luxurious but simple and delicate with tufted chairs sitting beneath an altar of soft tulle and florals by Touch of Elegance. Dania looked beautiful coming down the aisle fully veiled and Danny glowed as he waited for her. The two smiled at each other as they anxiously waited to sign their marriage contract and exchanged rings, making everything official.
The reception took the feeling of luxury to a whole new level with elevated floral towers, romantic candlelight, textured table cloths, and a cake by Kuro Neko Cakes that was surrounded by dimensional pieces and accented with gold edges.
It was an incredible day and while I didn’t get to go out on the dance floor, I know the evening was going to be one Danny and Dania will remember forever.
