A Winter Proposal in Columbus, Ohio's German Village

The fresh snow on the ground and festive Christmas cheer takes me back to last year when David proposed to Lauren! I got so excited when he contacted me and let me be a part of planning the perfect moment. 

We had it all laid out: the two were coming into town from their home in Chicago. We decided on a dinner date at Lindy’s with Frank Fetch Park being the area they walk through on their way. As I was hiding, I could hear their casual conversation turn into intimate words of affection. They were in the perfect spot. The sun was glowing behind them and there wasn’t a soul around. 

As David got down on one knee, Lauren’s face lit up with a huge smile, which never went away the rest of the night. Of course she said YES and from there we had some fun. Getting to be the first to celebrate with them as fiancés was it’s own Christmas gift. Their joy was infectious and it spread like wildfire the moment the two arrived at Lindy’s. 

Lauren’s face said it all as she instantly threw out her hand showing off her new ring. I’m so excited for these two and the joy I know they are going to feel on their wedding day! 

Can’t wait to see who all gets engaged this winter!
