Kait and Will's Summer Rooftop Wedding at Revery North 4th Corridor

COLUMBUS, OHIO

There is just something special about Revery North 4th Corridor in the summer. Between the glow of the natural light through the glass panes to the sun setting on the skyline, it’s no mystery why Kait and Will chose this as their wedding venue.

The excitement I had going into this day cannot be described. If you are in Columbus, Ohio you know a wedding planned by Berlyn Events and adorned by Bear Roots Floral is going to be stunning.

GETTING READY

The couple chose to get ready at an AirBnB. I loved this idea because it created an extra sense of intimacy. No elevator guests staring, having to dodge and weave running back and forth between floors. It made the morning calm and creating a stunning backdrop for photos. Hanging on the window of the bedroom was Kait’s gown from Lovely Bride. It was a Tara Lauren that was fitted and draped and perfectly incapsulated Kait’s unique style.

The stationery was bright and colorful, reflecting the personalities of the couple. Mixed with wildflowers and a classic font, it paired perfectly with the rings and florals that were seen throughout the day.

After Will got into his classic suit from Generation Tux, it was time for a first look. These never disappoint but there was something about this put us all in the feels. Within seconds Will’s eyes filled with tears and the two shared a much anticipated embrace.

ROOFTOP WEDDING IN DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS

After getting downtown and exploring around the Ohio Statehouse with their wedding party, off to Revery we went. Upon arrival the floral and event staff were standing around the entrance anticipating the reaction of the bride and groom. Their reaction? Yeah, it didn’t disappoint. Kait’s jaw hit the floor and Will just looked at her in amazement, knowing just how hard she had worked to make her floral dreams come true. As guests entered the ceremony area, they were greeted by a wall of Jackie-O’s beer and signature cocktails… along with a wooden cut out of their fur baby who couldn’t make it.

Surrounded by all their family and friends, the two shared the sweetest first kiss as husband and wife. While that moment was so beautiful, I can’t help but giggle at the love between the grandparents. Years of marriage and still madly in love. What an example for the newlyweds to witness.

LET’S PARTY

Aiden and Grace filled the space with so many stunning details. Paired with the many elements both specific to the couple and then some for their closest people; they made you feel like such a special part of their lives.

Once the grand entrances, special dances, and toasts were shared, DJ Vince from Josh Staley Productions got the dance floor poppin’. The couple wanted their reception to feel like a rave and he delivered. The icing on the cake though was Kait’s outfit change into a cute white bridal shortie and matching sneaks. We of course had to take some elevator shots on the way up but once she pulled out the LED clapper fan, guests went wild and there wasn’t a quiet moment the rest of the night.

The entire day was electric and so memorable. I cannot wait to see what adventures they take next.
