Understory Engagement Session in Columbus, Ohio

Nhung and Andrew’s engagement session took place at the cozy and elegant Understory bar in Columbus, Ohio. It was so much fun taking Nhung’s inspiration board and brining it to life for her. She loved the idea of incorporating a bar into her session, but because she doesn’t live in Columbus she wasn’t sure where to go. I got to work researching different options for her and after some deliberation we landed on Understory. It was the perfect mix of classy bar vibes, but has stunning window light and a relaxed atmosphere.

The couple looked stunning in their attire, with Nhung in a flowing silk white gown and Andrew clad in a sharp black tuxedo. Amidst the warm ambiance of the bar, the soft lighting accentuated their attire, creating a timeless and romantic atmosphere for their photographs.

After a quick outfit change we headed to the top of a parking garage in downtown Columbus. In more casual clothing and with an entire rooftop to ourselves we were able to capture so many fun, playful portraits. Andrew and Nhung were such a joy to photograph and I can’t wait for their wedding at the Westin.
