I can’t believe that today is Sara and Ryan’s wedding day!!! October sure has snuck up on me, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share their beautiful engagement photos that we took this summer.

We started their session at the Knotty Pine— a brewery that is right down the street from their home and where they first met! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: I love seeing couples incorporate meaningful locations into their sessions. Not only is the Knotty Pine a place that Sara and Ryan had their first date, but it continues to be their weekly spot to relax and spend time together. Another plus— having a drink to kick off your session is always a good idea in my opinion! ;)

After a quick drink at the brewery we headed down the street to their adorable Grandview home where we snapped some photos in their backyard with their pooch. Another bonus in my book— always add your fur baby into the shoot! I think it’s so important to make these sessions as personal and authentic as possible so you will always have these photos to look back on and truly remember this chapter of your life.

Sara and Ryan did a wardrobe change and we headed off to the Whetstone Park of Roses where we had absolute gorgeous light! I am still obsessed with Sara’s white jumpsuit and think she got at least 5 compliments from perfect strangers during the shoot because she looked so amazing!

Looking back on these photos has be SO excited for their wedding day at the Inverness Club in Toledo!
