Magnolia Hill Farm Dreamy Veranda Wedding
ALEX + DJ
EXCLUSIVELY FEATURED IN MODWEDDINGS
These New York City residents wanted their wedding to feel like a countryside getaway as guests walked into the hilltop veranda at Magnolia Hill Farm. This luxury all-white venue sits on 10 acres of flower farm, creating the perfect backdrop for a couple wanting to escape the big city for their nuptials.
Inside guests were mesmerized by lush waterfalls of greenery that encompassed the large windows and arched entryways. Old Slate Farm came in with fluffed roses and vines of greens to create a French-inspired garden indoors. Clouds of the greenery floated above the tables while romantic blooms were placed around the stemware and place settings, bringing it all together.
Each place setting was made custom with personalized menus and champagne tags from the Paper Refinery. They sat perfectly on top of antique plated china from Lost and Found Rentals that harmonized with the blush stemware and loosely knotted napkins, complimenting the color scheme seen all throughout the hand-installed arrangements. The details didn’t stop there though.
Behind the sweetheart table a white hedge wall from Aiden & Grace displayed the groom’s last name, something that he was eager to finally share with his bride. With the king-style seating around them, they could see the many faces of those they loved.
Something special that happened before the ceremony were the first looks Alex had with her bridesmaids and with her dad and brother. Their genuine reactions and joyful tears filled the space with so much excitement and accelerated Alex’s eagerness to see DJ.
When it came to walking down the aisle, guests were immersed in the garden experience, but it did not distract from Alex and her gorgeous Lazaro gown from La Jeune Mariee. The scalloped lace neckline and detachable tulle skirt gave her gown so much dimension. When together, it contrasted perfectly with DJ’s rich navy suit from Pursuit and cream accessories. The two were glowing with bright smiles as they locked eyes for the first time that day. Seeing DJ gently wipe away Alex’s tears while exchanging personalized vowels had both sets of parents’ radiate with joy.
After the perfect kiss, guests got to enjoy a relaxing cocktail hour more thanks to Aiden & Grace. It was made complete with delicate neutral seating, an adorable camper style outdoor bar from Short and Stout Mobile Bar, and a stunning view. After gathering and being completely in awe of their surroundings, that’s when guests got to find their names amongst a wall of champagne flutes and find their seats.
If the guests weren’t at their seats enjoying a towering plate of desserts by Lavender & Honey Cakery, then they were on the dance floor having the time of their lives led by the Bluewater Kings Band. These desserts made the evening complete with a 3-tiered blush cake, imprinted with a subtle design and gold accents and a table full of an assortment of delicious treats, most importantly buckeyes which supported the Columbus area dog rescues and shelter.
As you can see, this day didn’t lack details and the experience showed guests just how much they were cared for. From the dusty rose invitation to the end of night celebrations, you could tell Alex and DJ wanted to make sure the long-awaited fun would be remembered forever.
