Julia and Drew's April Engagement Session in Downtown Columbus

I absolutely loved getting to hang out with Julia and Drew for their engagement session this past April! The weather was perfect. Cool, with a little breeze, and just the right amount of glow. As always, Downtown Columbus gave us the best backdrops, starting at the Statehouse, where the spring blooms were showing off.

From there, we made our way to the Scioto Mile and wrapped up along the river, capturing everything from the sweet embraces to joyful laughter. These two were so natural together, and their session was the perfect mix of classic, modern, and totally them.

The Perfect Addition to the Session

Including your dog in your engagement session is my favorite. Whether it’s a playful moment at the park or a cozy cuddle, your dog adds a personal, heartfelt touch that everyone is sure to adore. So of course when these two asked about bringing, Bessy, I obviously said yes!

They wanted to celebrate their engagement with this sweet girl they rescued during the pandemic. Aside from hiring Ashley Stephen as your wedding planner, the next best thing to take away the stresses of wedding planning is your dog.

Getting Ready for a March Wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art

I cannot wait to celebrate these two, alongside their closest family and friends, at the Columbus Museum of Art. I’m already dreaming of portraits in Edwards Court, one of the most beautiful spots at the museum. Not to mention with Blue Water Kings as the reception entertainment, I already know it’s going to be a blast.
