Airy Fall Wedding at Brick & Mortar in Columbus, Ohio

Leah and Dan’s wedding at North 4th Corridor’s Brick & Mortar was one for the books. These two kept the day bright and airy with ivory florals and pops of sage creating a simple, understated elegance for the day.

The classic phrase of “dynamic duo” comes to mind when I think of these two. The amount of love they have for their families and friends was palpable throughout the entire wedding day.

When I arrived at the Hilton Columbus Downtown Leah’s Martina Liana gown from White of Dublin was hanging in the window and it was stunning. The open back and bow details turned her gown into a statement. Another detail that can’t be missed is the sweet pendant she had with their dog, Scout, that would go around her bouquet. A timeless ode to the goodest boy.

Dan and Leah’s first look did not disappoint as gentle tears were shed during a warm embrace. The sun that came in through the windows glowed around them and followed them the rest of the day.

During their outdoor ceremony they were nothing but smiles along with their friends and family as the Columbus Musicians began to play. Their officiant who was a dear friend shared personal stories before guiding them through their vows. Everyone cheered when the two kissed as husband and wife.

One of the first things Leah and Dan shared about themselves with me was their mutual love for dancing, so I knew we were all in for a fun night! The reception truly was a party. After some toasts and the cutting of the gorgeous three-tiered cake from Lavender and Honey Bakery, Sound + Light Creative opened up the dancefloor and the air became electric. No one wanted the night to end and I don’t blame them. It was the perfect day.
